I was getting these requests over a hundred times a day! I felt like my Mac had been turned into a Windows Vista machine. I dumped Sophos a week or more ago so, I don't remember EXACTLY but it went sommething like: Sophos wants to connect to "xyz.com" on port "1234". Which permissions were those dialog boxes for? I have had Sophos installed on my systems for years, about the only dialog boxes for permissions I have ever seen were during the initial installation. I uninstalled Sophos just to make those permission requests stop. I don't remember any threats found by Sophos BUT, the pop-up permission dialog boxes Sophos created were driving me crazy. About two weeks ago, I downloaded and ran Sophos Antivirus.
